After 91 days of shooting and 2,021 shots, “THE MUMMY: TOMB OF THE DRAGON EMPEROR” has wrapped. I finished shooting the “Imhotep’s Nightclub” sequence with Isabella Leong slow dancing with Luke Ford and, across the dance floor, Brendan Fraser guiding Maria Bello through the steps in a very romantic ending quickly turning to comedy as upstairs in the lounge, John Hannah gets caught skipping out of town on his partner Liam Cunningham.

The third Mummy film stars Brendan Fraser, Maria Bello, Jet Li, John Hanna and Michelle Yeoh, and is released in theaters August 1, 2008.

Jet Li in ‘The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor’The first film still depicting Jet Li as a kung-fu fighting Chinese emperor in The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor was posted by director Rob Cohen himself on his production blog.

Cohen also wrote the following about the action star: Today, I shot Jet Li on his black stallion riding into battle in his jade armor. He looked nothing short of an Emperor. He has been totally professional and warm to me and the entire crew, like the prince he truly is.

The Impending Oil Crisis

quote I am a little leary of the situation. The truth will come out when, and if the US economy, and the dollar begins to strengthen. If prices remain high, you’ll know someone is lying. Either OPEC doesn’t have the supply they claim they have, or Analysts are incorrect when they say demand has decreased. Personally, I don’t buy the claim that demand has decreased. Population is ever increasing, so, the the demand should always be increasing. quote
