You probably won’t see this news go around on many websites, since news outlets usually don’t care about following up their stories, especially not once they’ve been debunked. See, the news is already passé and the fishing for new headlines must go on.
Thankfully, there are some exceptions. Empire for instance didn’t quite buy those rumours (started by a British tabloid) that crew currently working Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince were told that the adaptation of the final book would be split into two movies. So they spoke with their contacts in the industry and, you guessed it, uncovered that there is absolutely no basis for talk of such a split at this stage.
Because currently, screenwriter Steve Kloves hasn’t even started work on the script for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and as Warner Bros. confirms, no decisions have been made about the seventh installment yet.
