Crispin Glover on ‘9′

9small.jpgCrispin Glover has given SCI FI Wire a progress update on the feature-length movie adaptation of Shane Acker’s Oscar-nominated animated short 9,  in which the quirky actor voices a creature who steals souls in a post-apocalyptic world.

‘I have finished with all of my work on it, but I don’t know what exactly his happening with that,’ explained Glover.  ‘The work I did on that was very different from Beowulf, because in that one I did go on and do my voice and didn’t have a chance to interact with other actors.

9 has been written by Pamela Pettler and features the voices of Jennifer Connelly, John C. Reilly, Christopher Plummer, Martin Landau and Elijah Wood.   The plot revolves around a rag doll character that fights a monster that has stolen the rest of his people’s souls.  The characters and sets are mostly comprised of every-day objects.

The Impending Oil Crisis

quote I am a little leary of the situation. The truth will come out when, and if the US economy, and the dollar begins to strengthen. If prices remain high, you’ll know someone is lying. Either OPEC doesn’t have the supply they claim they have, or Analysts are incorrect when they say demand has decreased. Personally, I don’t buy the claim that demand has decreased. Population is ever increasing, so, the the demand should always be increasing. quote
