Warner Bros have released high resolution versions of the Watchmen posters revealed at Comic-Con.

Watchmen is set in an alternative 1985, where the US is on the verge on nuclear conflict with the Soviet Union. It tells the story of a group of past and present superheroes and the events surrounding the mysterious murder of one of their own.
Watchmen is set to be released on the 6th of March 2009

The ancient Greek story that inspired Walter Hill’s 1979 cult classic film The Warriors is set to be made into a movie reports Variety.
No doubt eyeing the success of the sylish 300, Columbia has purchased a pitch for an adaptation of Anabasis, a memoir written around 400 B.C. by a Greek soldier called Xenophon.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time producer Jerry Bruckheimer and Disney have delayed the released of their fantasy action movie by nearly a year writes Variety.
The official line is that Disney wants to allow more time for post-production as the tentpole feature requires extensive visual FX to create its fantasy world and setpieces. However, the postponement moves the feature out of the path of Transformers 2, with POP now set to debut on Memorial Day weekend 2010.

Before the new series returns to air this September on NBC, you can pick up the second series of Heroes in this 4 disc set. The set features untold stories that never aired and an alternate ending to the season finale where the fate of humanity takes an ominous turn. There’s also a sneak peek of Series 3.
The normal DVD box set will sell for $39.98, while the Blu-Ray hi-def will be $69.98.
