singersmall.jpgWarner Bros. has snapped up Capeshooters, a comic book adaptation set to be produced by Bryan Singer writes Variety.

Singer, responsible for comic book adaptations X-Men, X2 and Superman Returns, is interested in exploring the darker side of the genre in a story about two slackers who become paparazzi specializing in shooting covert videos of superheroes but find themselves on the run after they stumble onto evidence that a revered superhero is actually a villain.

J.P. Lavin and Chad Damiani will write the script.

The project is based on an upcoming comic creation by Rob Liefeld, the former Marvel Comics artist who left to become co-founder of Image Comics. BHH’s Alex Garcia will be executive producer.

galacticaemblemsmall.jpgAccording to Jamie Bamber aka Lee ‘Apollo’ Adama in SCI FI Channel’s Battlestar Galactica, the final 10 episodes of the hit show will answer all unanswered questions and mysteries.

‘Yeah, yeah, everything,’ Bamber told SCI FI Wire. ‘I can’t really think of a really loose thread. … Not off the top of my head. I’m sure there are a couple, but I can’t think of one.’

The final episodes of final season are set to be broadcast in early 2009 and will continue from the midseason finale with the survivors arriving on a burnt-out Earth.

2008 U.S. Presidential election

quoteI prefer Obama to McCain. Now, McCain’s better than average for a Republican. And though his ads are intellectually offensive, he’s just bowing to his campaign masters and would calm down and be more sane once in office and not campaigning. But I have a few concerns with McCain on foreign policy. He’s not a full-fledged Neocon. That’s good. He opposed Reagan on Lebanon. Good. He was critical of Bush’s initial strategy in Iraq. That’s good. But there’s a problem. He thinks the Vietnam war was winnable and that the US shouldn’t have withdrawn. He’s also eager to spread democracy with force. This just isn’t a good set of beliefs for inheriting Iraq.quote
