The shots offer new glimpses at David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson, who reprise their roles as Special Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully in the film sequel to the popular mystery series that ran between 1993 and 2002. Fox will release the Chris Carter-directed film this July.

Harrison Ford as Indiana JonesThe full trailer for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is scheduled to premiere in front of copies of Iron Man in the United States this weekend, but already a bootleg has found its way online at Traileraddict.com.

While the video size of the bootleg is decent, the quality of the picture is not. The clip appears to be the result of someone filming the trailer with a video camera in a special preview screening. We advise fans eager to see it to wait for the official high-definition release, which is expected to hit the internet in the next few days.

The anticipated fourth Indiana Jones adventure debuts in theaters May 22.

Hugh Jackman as 'Wolverine'Hugh Jackman spoke with MTV about the upcoming spin-off X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which sees him reprise the role of the clawed and indestructable mutant:

“We are dealing with a character who is probably one of the darker comic book characters ever created,” Jackman said. “The movie has a lot of fun elements, but there are layers of pain and darkness to this character.”

“Tonally, I would put it more in the ‘Batman Begins’ sort of realm,” he added. “That’s sort of where we’re headed.”

The film is directed by Gavin Hood (Tsotsi, Rendition) and hits cinemas May 1, 2009.

Jonah HillJonah Hill, of Knocked Up and Superbad hilarity, is in the frame for a part in Transformers 2, according to Entertainment Weekly. The actor is in early negotiations to co-star opposite Shia LaBeouf, to provide comic relief as a sidekick to the LaBeouf’s character Sam Witwicky.

Just over three weeks ago details from a casting list of new characters in the Transformers sequel surfaced online. The list included Sam Witwicky’s conspiracy theorist Princeton roommate ‘Chuck’. It’s not unlikely that this is the character Paramount and Dreamworks are looking to cast Hill for, provided the information on said casting list was genuine.

Michael Bay’s sequel to last summer’s blockbuster is scheduled to be released in 2009.

2008 U.S. Presidential election

quoteI prefer Obama to McCain. Now, McCain’s better than average for a Republican. And though his ads are intellectually offensive, he’s just bowing to his campaign masters and would calm down and be more sane once in office and not campaigning. But I have a few concerns with McCain on foreign policy. He’s not a full-fledged Neocon. That’s good. He opposed Reagan on Lebanon. Good. He was critical of Bush’s initial strategy in Iraq. That’s good. But there’s a problem. He thinks the Vietnam war was winnable and that the US shouldn’t have withdrawn. He’s also eager to spread democracy with force. This just isn’t a good set of beliefs for inheriting Iraq.quote
