Pathology is another example of an interesting premise plagued by poor execution. The creators of the extremely entertaining Crank (2006, R) turn to a more serious tone in this crime-thriller. However, the shortcuts they took with Crank can not be made in a film like this.

Recent news about the Constructicons/Devastator appearing in the Transformers sequel may have been a fabricated lie.
Director Michael Bay wrote on his official site: “Sorry everyone, everything you are reading (other then we are shooting in Philly) is false. We are going to give so much disinformation on this film to confuse everyone.”
Information leakage during the production of last summer’s Transformers was considerable (we were able to review the script almost a year prior to the film’s release), so Bay’s need for secrecy this time around is understandable. On the other hand, an outright disinformation campaign will only hurt the sequel’s potential publicity, as news sites may feel forced to boycott their coverage of the movie short of officially released publicity material.

Denying recent internet rumours, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull producer Frank Marshall confirmed the run time at just over two hours, putting it at about equal length with the 127 minutes of Last Crusade.
While a overwhelmingly positive review of the film is up at Hollywood Elsewhere, word is that moviegoers should keep their expectations firmly in check.
Meanwhile, over a dozen new images from the film have surfaced online recently. We’ve collected them in our movie gallery.
The film opens in theaters May 22.

The Joel Silver produced Wonder Woman film was put on hold last autumn when Warner Bros. decided to go ahead with Justice League instead.
However, Silver has now told IESB.net that he has got scribes Matthew Jennison and Brent Strickland to write a new Wonder Woman script involving an origin story. The screenwriting pair had delivered a WW2-set script last year which was optioned by WB, but Silver has since ditched that draft in favour of a storyline involving Paradise Island and Wonder Woman’s original background.
There’s no word yet on who would direct the film, although Silver did hint that Andy Wachowski (The Matrix, Speed Racer) had an idea on how to open the film.
