Gillian Anderson as Dana Scully in ‘The X-Files: I Want to Believe’20th Century Fox was kind enough to provide the X-Realms with 4 new film stills from The X-Files: I Want to Believe.

The shots offer new glimpses at David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson, who reprise their roles as Special Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully in the film sequel to the popular mystery series that ran between 1993 and 2002. Fox will release the Chris Carter-directed film this July.

Harrison Ford as Indiana JonesThe full trailer for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is scheduled to premiere in front of copies of Iron Man in the United States this weekend, but already a bootleg has found its way online at Traileraddict.com.

While the video size of the bootleg is decent, the quality of the picture is not. The clip appears to be the result of someone filming the trailer with a video camera in a special preview screening. We advise fans eager to see it to wait for the official high-definition release, which is expected to hit the internet in the next few days.

The anticipated fourth Indiana Jones adventure debuts in theaters May 22.

Hugh Jackman as 'Wolverine'Hugh Jackman spoke with MTV about the upcoming spin-off X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which sees him reprise the role of the clawed and indestructable mutant:

“We are dealing with a character who is probably one of the darker comic book characters ever created,” Jackman said. “The movie has a lot of fun elements, but there are layers of pain and darkness to this character.”

“Tonally, I would put it more in the ‘Batman Begins’ sort of realm,” he added. “That’s sort of where we’re headed.”

The film is directed by Gavin Hood (Tsotsi, Rendition) and hits cinemas May 1, 2009.

Jonah HillJonah Hill, of Knocked Up and Superbad hilarity, is in the frame for a part in Transformers 2, according to Entertainment Weekly. The actor is in early negotiations to co-star opposite Shia LaBeouf, to provide comic relief as a sidekick to the LaBeouf’s character Sam Witwicky.

Just over three weeks ago details from a casting list of new characters in the Transformers sequel surfaced online. The list included Sam Witwicky’s conspiracy theorist Princeton roommate ‘Chuck’. It’s not unlikely that this is the character Paramount and Dreamworks are looking to cast Hill for, provided the information on said casting list was genuine.

Michael Bay’s sequel to last summer’s blockbuster is scheduled to be released in 2009.

‘The Dark Knight’ international posterBrazilian website Omelete has scored five new international posters from The Dark Knight.

View the posters in our movie gallery »

There’s one character poster each for Batman (holding his sling), The Joker (holding a Batman playing card) and Harvey Dent (holding a ‘I Believe in Harvey Dent’ badge), plus one horizontal banner that unifies these three. Additionally, the site also posted another one more in line with the design of the recently revealed US poster, showing Batman on his bike.

Chris Nolan’s anticipated sequel to 2005’s Batman Begins hits theaters July 18.

The movie sees David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson reprising the roles made famous in the popular mystery series that ran between 1993 and 2002. A first cinematic outing, directed by Rob Bowman, premiered in theaters in June 1998. Fox will release the Chris Carter-directed sequel this July.

'The Dark Knight' theatrical posterYesterday’s scavenger hunt for the full trailer of The Dark Knight led to success - but only for some.

Those who turned up at the various locations posted on viral campaign website WhySoSerious.com were treated to exclusive screenings of the trailer, according to TDK-UMB, while one lucky winner got to take home the film reel. A low-quality bootleg of such a screening is currently available on YouTube (we’d like to discourage you from watching it though).

Unfortunately, all of this didn’t coincide with the internet release of the clip that many were expecting. A new subpage on WhySoSerious.com now indicates that the trailer will go online in high-definition Quicktime this Sunday, which would give it time to premiere in front of copies of Iron Man in the United States, which opens this Friday.

UPDATE: It’s now on the official site as well »

The video runs for thirty seconds and features new footage and dialogue not seen/heard in the teaser trailer or the first TV ad that premiered a few weeks ago.

The anticipated fourth Indiana Jones installment debuts in cinemas May 22.

‘The Hobbit’TheOneRing.net scored an exclusive interview with Guillermo del Toro, who was confirmed last week as the director for the adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit and its sequel film.

Del Toro stressed that the continuity between his two films and Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings trilogy is paramount, and that he’s already been in contact with the likes of Andy Serkis (Gollum), Sir Ian McKellen (Gandalf), and composer Howard Shore. Prep work starts this summer, including “reforestation” of The Shire sets to achieve a close match to how it was seen in Fellowship of the Ring, which is set approx. 50 years after events in The Hobbit.

Del Toro also denies that the decision to shoot a second film, set between The Hobbit and Fellowship, is not just a ploy to double the studio’s profits: “This second film is not a ‘tag on’, it’s not ‘filler’, it’s an integral part of telling the story of those 50 years of history lost in the narrative. There will be certain things that we will see from the first movie but from a different point of view, but it will feel like a volume, in the five volumes of the entire story.”

'The Dark Knight' teaser posterThe full trailer for Chris Nolan’s The Dark Knight is expected to premiere online later today.

SuperHeroHype analyzed the latest semi-cryptic message on the (borderline tiresome) viral campaign site WhySoSerious.com and uncovered strong hints that the trailer is set to go live on that website on April 28th, i.e. today.

The sequel to 2005’s Batman Begins, Batman (Christian Bale) sets out to destroy organized crime in Gotham for good, with the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon (Gary Oldman) and District Attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart). The triumvirate proves to be effective, but they soon find themselves prey to a rising criminal mastermind known as the Joker (Heath Ledger), who thrusts Gotham into anarchy and forces the Dark Knight ever closer to crossing the fine line between hero and vigilante.

The Impending Oil Crisis

quote I am a little leary of the situation. The truth will come out when, and if the US economy, and the dollar begins to strengthen. If prices remain high, you’ll know someone is lying. Either OPEC doesn’t have the supply they claim they have, or Analysts are incorrect when they say demand has decreased. Personally, I don’t buy the claim that demand has decreased. Population is ever increasing, so, the the demand should always be increasing. quote
