Boy actor Kodi Smit-McPhee (Romulus, My Father) is no longer in the frame to play the young version of Hugh Jackman’s Logan in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
According to ComingSoon.net, a change of production dates meant that Smit-McPhee’s shooting schedule for Wolverine conflicted with his commitment to The Road (a thriller in which he stars next to Viggo Mortensen). 13-year-old Perth resident Troye Mellet has been cast to replace him.
Meanwhile, a report from the set of Wolverine including spoilers and pictures has gone up at Aint-it-cool-news.

Ellen Page (Juno) is no longer available for Sam Raimi’s Drag Me To Hell reports ShockTillYouDrop.com.
The lead role of an unwitting recipient of a supernatural curse will have to be recast after Page had to abandon the project because of scheduling conflicts that arose when the start date of production was changed.
Raimi, who spent the past eight years working on the Spider-Man trilogy, co-wrote the script together with his brother Ivan Raimi. The film will mark his long awaited return to the horror genre.
