'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull' teaser posterParamount Pictures will debut the highly anticipated trailer for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull on Entertainment Tonight on February 14.

CHUD reports that the preview will also be attached to copies of The Spiderwick Chronicles, which opens in cinemas the following day - when the trailer will also make its way online.

Meanwhile, a behind-the-scenes clip from the film’s production has gone up at the official Indy website, featuring production designer Guy Hendrix Dyas giving us a tour of Dr Jones’ home in the film.

'Cloverfield' theatrical posterLooks like the internet hype paid off after all. The J.J. Abrams-produced monster movie Cloverfield raked in a sensational $18.25 million at the US box office on Friday, Dark Horizons reports.

That figure amounted to a bigger opening day gross than the studio estimated and puts the film on course to make just over $50 million over the long weekend - easily breaking the best January opening record held by the Star Wars Special Edition with $35.9 million, and the Martin Luther King holiday weekend record set by Black Hawk Down with $33.6 million.

Bloody Disgusting caught up with director Matt Reeves at the Cloverfield premiere earlier this week to ask him if any sequels were in store. ‘Only time will tell,’ the director replied. ‘While we were on set making the film we talked about the possibilities and directions of how a sequel can go. The fun of this movie was that it might not have been the only movie being made that night, there might be another movie! In today’s day and age of people filming their lives on their iphones and handy cams, uploading it to youtube…That was kind of exciting thinking about that.’

Timothy Spall as WormtailBritish actor Timothy Spall told Moviehole that he will reprise his role as Peter Pettigrew aka Wormtail in the final two Harry Potter films:

‘I’m in the next one. I’m also in the one at the end – I have a very big scene in that. I think they might be shooting two of them back-to-back – hard to know though, what with this writers strike and all. They’re shooting the penultimate one at the moment – which I have a brief appearance in it. I should be doing that soon.’

Pettigrew previously had roles in Prisoner of Azkaban and Goblet of Fire. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince premieres in cinemas later this year in November, while Deathly Hallows is scheduled for 2010.

The Impending Oil Crisis

quote I am a little leary of the situation. The truth will come out when, and if the US economy, and the dollar begins to strengthen. If prices remain high, you’ll know someone is lying. Either OPEC doesn’t have the supply they claim they have, or Analysts are incorrect when they say demand has decreased. Personally, I don’t buy the claim that demand has decreased. Population is ever increasing, so, the the demand should always be increasing. quote
