Following a number of recent cast updates for 20th Century Fox’s adaptation of the popular manga and anime Dragon Ball comes news of a big name boarding the cast. Martial arts film icon Chow Yun Fat will take the role of Master Roshi in the upcoming movie. Roshi, pictured right, is a wise and somewhat perverted old sage who trains Goku (Justin Chatwin) in the ways of advanced martial arts, powerful techniques, and big explosions coming out hands and stuff. Dragon Ball, directed by James Wong, will tentatively be rushed to theaters sometime in Summer 2008.

Warner Bros. Pictures has supplied the X-Realms with two stills from Chris Nolan’s The Dark Knight.
Both have been floating around the net in some form or another, but as far as we can tell never as clear as these now. And since we know many of our readers delight in anything Batman-related, we decided to publicize these shots nonetheless.
The first is of Batman (Christian Bale) on his bike, while the second is an interference-free version of the Joker (Heath Ledger) image that appeared on the cover of Empire magazine a while back. You can view both in our movie gallery (click through for high-resolution versions).
