anakinsmall.jpgTheforce.net reports that George Lucas really feels he hasn’t got quite enough money yet.

Apparently a Lucasfilm representative has told them that they ‘are exploring a number of innovative ways to introduce [The new Clone Wars TV show] to the public’. This includes the possibility that the show may get a theatrical release prior to its debut on TV.

Expect a special edition with enhanced visual FX late in 2012 followed by six DVD box sets,  a definitive edition and a theatrical 3D IMAX release before the Ultimate DVD collection bows in 2015.

strikesmall1.jpgAccording to the Hollywood Reporter production of TV shows Bionic Woman and Battlestar Galactica has shut down due to the ongoing WGA strikes.

NBC’s Vancouver-shot TV series Bionic Woman shut down November 9th,  local publicist Bill Vigars said Thursday,  well ahead of its scheduled December 12th close. Local media reports indicate that the fourth season of Sci Fi Channel’s Battlestar Galactica, which was set to shoot through mid-March, will wrap Friday because it, too, has burned through available scripts. Executives at the New York-based Sci Fi Channel in New York were not available for comment.

The Impending Oil Crisis

quote I am a little leary of the situation. The truth will come out when, and if the US economy, and the dollar begins to strengthen. If prices remain high, you’ll know someone is lying. Either OPEC doesn’t have the supply they claim they have, or Analysts are incorrect when they say demand has decreased. Personally, I don’t buy the claim that demand has decreased. Population is ever increasing, so, the the demand should always be increasing. quote
