The first film still depicting Jet Li as a kung-fu fighting Chinese emperor in The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor was posted by director Rob Cohen himself on his production blog.
Cohen also wrote the following about the action star: Today, I shot Jet Li on his black stallion riding into battle in his jade armor. He looked nothing short of an Emperor. He has been totally professional and warm to me and the entire crew, like the prince he truly is.

Bloody-Disgusting had a chance to question Silent Hill writer Roger Avary about the video game adaptation’s rumoured sequel.
Avary disclosed that Sony is planning on turning Silent Hill into a movie trilogy, but that the only way he himself would return to the franchise was if Christophe Gans were to return to the director’s chair. Which Avary’s pretty sure won’t happen.
The 2006 film, which fell through with critics but was more favourably received amongst general audiences, was considered a financial success, topping the box office on its opening weekend at $20.1 million on its way to its $47 million domestic total.

The most talked about Harry Potter news over the past few days has been author JK Rowling’s revelation at a public appearance that Hogwarts headmaster Albus Dumbledore is gay.
Rowling explained that the young Dumbledore was smitten with rival Gellert Grindelwald, whom he ultimately had to defeat in a great battle between good and evil. ‘Falling in love can blind us to an extent,’ Rowling said of Dumbledore’s feelings, adding that Dumbledore was ‘horribly, terribly let down.’
Rowling recounted how she had to make director David Yates aware of this after spotting a reference to a girl who was once of interest to Dumbledore in the script for the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince film adaptation.

With the success of the first three Resident Evil movies it may be inevitable that studio bosses want a fourth. Producer Jeremy Bolt hasn’t ruled it out either.
He said to Scifi.com: “It’s not our intention. We’ve been very pleased with the third part of the franchise, and it’s done so well. And Ali Larter is a terrific Claire Redfield. We want to be respectful. I think the thing is, we’re in the middle of Death Race. We haven’t really focused on [another Resident Evil]. Certainly we’d like to look at it, but I wouldn’t want to say we were or weren’t doing anything at this point. It’s too early.”
