bobsmall.jpgAccording to Entertainment Weekly George Lucas is visiting Los Angeles this week to meet with writers for his live-action Star Wars TV show.

The site reports that ‘according to one agent familiar with the project, Lucas’ plan is to recruit several freelancers - aka ‘writers of real significance’ - to spend a week at the Skywalker Ranch in November to come up with story ideas for the series.’

The agent added that Lucas wants to hire writers from other countries.  The writers would then disperse and write the 13 episodes that would be produced and financed by Lucas.

The Impending Oil Crisis

quote I am a little leary of the situation. The truth will come out when, and if the US economy, and the dollar begins to strengthen. If prices remain high, you’ll know someone is lying. Either OPEC doesn’t have the supply they claim they have, or Analysts are incorrect when they say demand has decreased. Personally, I don’t buy the claim that demand has decreased. Population is ever increasing, so, the the demand should always be increasing. quote
