The word is that Vin Diesel has been having meetings with the T4 people, presumably to pick up a role as a member of the resistance,  or more interestingly to replace Arnie as the relentless cyborg of the title.

Earlier reports suggested that the film will include sequences featuring Schwarzenegger, reprising his role through the magic of digital FX in brief flashback scenes.

johncartersmall.jpgErbzine reports that pre-production on the Disney/Pixar John Carter of Mars adaptation is gathering pace.

Apparently the Pixar creative team spent Tuesday morning trawling through the Edgar Rice Burroughs archives at the ERB Inc. in California where Pixar vice president Jim Morris, director Andrew Stanton and script writer Mark Andrews discussed the project.  The team were presented with a wealth of resources by Danton Burroughs, including art samples and books.

Disney and Pixar plan to produce a film trilogy faithful to the Burroughs books with a release date sometime before 2012.

The Impending Oil Crisis

quote I am a little leary of the situation. The truth will come out when, and if the US economy, and the dollar begins to strengthen. If prices remain high, you’ll know someone is lying. Either OPEC doesn’t have the supply they claim they have, or Analysts are incorrect when they say demand has decreased. Personally, I don’t buy the claim that demand has decreased. Population is ever increasing, so, the the demand should always be increasing. quote
