'Indy IV' teaserCo-star Shia LaBeouf announced the full title for next summer’s Indy IV at the MTV Video Music Awards last night, and the film’s official site confirmed it soon after. And it’s not Indiana Jones and the City of Gods as previously speculated:

‘Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull’ official logo

That’s the official logo. The title may seem long-winded, but then Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark wasn’t really any less wordy, was it?

Battlestar GalacticaSyFy Portal has confirmed that the fourth and final season of Battlestar Galactica will be split in half, although it is unclear how long the break in between will be.

Producer David Weddle is quoted as saying: ‘We were told that SciFi was thinking about splitting the final season, but we do not know how long the gap in that split will be…As far as I know, SciFi has not decided yet. The SciFi Channel executives are the only ones who will be able to answer that question, once they’ve arrived at a decision.’

Actor Jamie Bamber, who plays Apollo on the show, dropped hints last weekend that SCI FI was looking to space the season premiere and the season finale up to a full year apart.

Daniel Craig as James BondDark Horizons scored a couple of noteworthy quotes from some of the major players involved in Bond 22, who offer new details on the upcoming film’s plot.

Producer Barbara Broccoli said the story ‘will continue the path of Bond trying to find out who was behind the Le Chiffre operation. That’s as much as we’re going to say.’ She confirmed that as of now, neither gadget-master Q nor secretary Miss Moneypenny were scheduled to appear in the film.

‘I can tell you it starts right where ‘Casino’ left off. Yes, Bond will be going after the organization that we hinted at. It will be the same Bond you saw in ‘Casino,’ a very human and flawed assassin, a man who has to navigate a morally complex and often cynical world while attempting to hold onto his deep beliefs of what is right and wrong,’ screenwriter Paul Haggis added.

Please excuse our recent lack of news updates. The performance of our server has been unreliable due to the high amount of traffic we’ve been receiving.

The X-Realms staff is currently hard at work at relocating the site and boards to a new dedicated host that will - finger’s crossed - deliver its money’s worth (which can’t be said of our present host, Dreamhost, which we heartily discourage you from ever signing up with).

2008 U.S. Presidential election

quoteI prefer Obama to McCain. Now, McCain’s better than average for a Republican. And though his ads are intellectually offensive, he’s just bowing to his campaign masters and would calm down and be more sane once in office and not campaigning. But I have a few concerns with McCain on foreign policy. He’s not a full-fledged Neocon. That’s good. He opposed Reagan on Lebanon. Good. He was critical of Bush’s initial strategy in Iraq. That’s good. But there’s a problem. He thinks the Vietnam war was winnable and that the US shouldn’t have withdrawn. He’s also eager to spread democracy with force. This just isn’t a good set of beliefs for inheriting Iraq.quote
