two-facesmall.jpgFilm Ick by way of comicbookmovie.com are reporting that the visage of archvillian Two-Face,  aka Harvey Dent in The Dark Knight could be digital.

The site suggests that once the crime-fighting lawyer, played by Aaron Eckhart assumes his evil alter-ego, his face will be computer generated by digital FX outfit Framestore.  The company is alreay working on virtual set extensions for scenes set in Hong Kong, as well as a CG stand-in Batman

However, although the rumor of Framestore’s work on the character might be legit, it could well be the case that they are simply creating the transformation FX for the scene where crime boss Sal Maroni throws sulphuric acid in his face.

jonnyquestsmall.jpgAccording to the Hollywood Reporter, classic Hanna-Barbera adventure series Jonny Quest is set to be adapted for the big screen.

Warner Bros are eyeing the property as a potential franchise with Dan Mazeau penning the screenplay and Adrian Askarieh and Daniel Alter producing.

First broadcast in 1964 and inspired by radio shows, comic strips and James Bond movies, the primetime sci-fi adventure series aired on ABC, then spent the next two decades in reruns. The show told the stories of Quest, a young boy who accompanied his scientist father on extraordinary escapades. Also in the mix was his adopted brother from Calcutta, his pet bulldog pup, and the government agent assigned to protect them. The show, which was noted for its realistic portrayal of people, was canceled not because of low ratings but because it was too expensive to produce. A new series was introduced in the late 1980s as were other revivals. Several comic books series were also published.

The Impending Oil Crisis

quote I am a little leary of the situation. The truth will come out when, and if the US economy, and the dollar begins to strengthen. If prices remain high, you’ll know someone is lying. Either OPEC doesn’t have the supply they claim they have, or Analysts are incorrect when they say demand has decreased. Personally, I don’t buy the claim that demand has decreased. Population is ever increasing, so, the the demand should always be increasing. quote
