Transformers director Michael Bay has been talking to Entertainment Weekly about the possibility of a sequel.
‘Let’s see how this one does.‘ said Bay when asked if he’d return to the world of Autobots and Decepticons, ‘I’ve got a lot of ideas for the next one. There’s a lot of really cool, big robot stuff that I had in my head that we didn’t do. I just want to see how this works. You might not grow as much as a director [to do a sequel]. But it’s kind of like you have your baby and you don’t want someone else to take it’.
Bay added that if he was to make a sequel it may take a backseat to a ‘little movie’ that he’s developing called Pain and Gain.

The X-Realms would like to congratulate one of its newest members- Mark Cheng, on winning the Best Sci-Fi Short at The Indie Gathering film festival in Cleveland, Ohio for Deployment Strategy.

Lieutenant James Lee, computer psychologist, has just joined Division 9 of the United States Homeland Security Cyber Crime unit. His wits and abilities will be challenged for sure, but what about his beliefs? In a world where sentient, artificial intelligence is prevalent, who exactly is endowed by their Creator with inherent and inalienable rights? Man? Machine?

Robin Williams has told SCI FI Wire that his character in upcoming fantasy movie August Rush draws heavily on the persona of U2 singer Bono.
‘This isn’t the most spiritual or religious character I’ve played,‘ said Williams at the premiere of License to Wed. ‘I think that would have to be Parry in The Fisher King, where he is searching for the Holy Grail. … The Wizard [in August Rush] is more like Fagin [in Oliver Twist], a bit more Dickensian with a mystical element. In addition to looking like Bono, the Wizard wears his signature sunglasses and cowboy hat.‘
