cowboysaliens.jpgVariety reports that DreamWorks and Universal Pictures will team up to adapt the graphic novel Cowboys & Aliens for the big screen.

The live action feature will be produced by Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, Scott Mitchell Rosenberg, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci from a script by Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby.

Cowboys & Aliens mixes Western and science fiction genres. Set in 1800s Arizona, a skirmish between cowboys and Apaches is interrupted by the crash landing of a space ship. The alien commander plans to tame the Old West and enslave everyone, but the cowboys and Native Americans turn their six-guns against the alien invaders.

The Impending Oil Crisis

quote I am a little leary of the situation. The truth will come out when, and if the US economy, and the dollar begins to strengthen. If prices remain high, you’ll know someone is lying. Either OPEC doesn’t have the supply they claim they have, or Analysts are incorrect when they say demand has decreased. Personally, I don’t buy the claim that demand has decreased. Population is ever increasing, so, the the demand should always be increasing. quote
