galacticaemblemsmall.jpgExecutive producer David Eick has told SCI FI Wire that Battlestar Galactica’s search for Earth will continue to be an open-ended adventure with no end in sight.

Flying in the face of comments made by Edward James Olmos (Adm. Adama) at the recent Saturn Awards, no end has been announced for the award-winning sci-fi show. Battlestar Galactica is preparing to film its fourth season, one that will include 22 episodes, rather than the previously announced 13.

‘For those of you who have been paying attention over the years, this is not the first time Eddie has made an announcement about the possibility of the show’s end,‘ chuckled Eick. ‘I promise you that when [executiuve producer] Ron [Moore] and I make a decision about Galactica’s future, we’ll let you know.’

pandorasmall.jpgThe Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Men In Black director Barry Sonnenfeld is in negotiations to helm a supernatural action adventure ‘event movie’ for 20th Century Fox called The Box.

With a screenplay from Evan Spiliotopoulos, the movie is set to be a contemporary take on the myth of Pandora’s box as a college grad with an uncertain future who is tricked into opening the mythical box, unwittingly unleashes the evils trapped within.

The Impending Oil Crisis

quote I am a little leary of the situation. The truth will come out when, and if the US economy, and the dollar begins to strengthen. If prices remain high, you’ll know someone is lying. Either OPEC doesn’t have the supply they claim they have, or Analysts are incorrect when they say demand has decreased. Personally, I don’t buy the claim that demand has decreased. Population is ever increasing, so, the the demand should always be increasing. quote
