Jonathan Rhys-Davies as SallahJonathan Rhys-Davies will not reprise his role as Sallah in the upcoming Indiana Jones IV, a reader who met the actor at the Armageddon Pulp Expo in New Zealand told Dark Horizons.

Rhys-Davies, also known for playing the dwarf Gimli in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, apparently revealed that he has not been approached about Indiana Jones IV, and what little he knew about the film from a third party was that the character of Sallah had been written out of the script in favour of a younger cast.

A remake of the 1981 cult classic, the story of Clash of the Titans revolves around Zeus’ son, Perseus, and his journey to save Princess Andromeda during which he must complete various tasks set out by Zeus, including capturing Pegasus and slaying Medusa. The original marked the final film on which Ray Harryhausen did special effects.

Edward Norton in 'The Illusionist'In a surprise casting move, Variety has announced that Edward Norton (Fight Club, The Illusionist) will star as the Hulk in Louis Leterrier’s The Incredible Hulk, set for release June 13, 2008.

Norton takes over the role played in the Ang Lee directed Hulk by Eric Bana. Leterrier’s film adaptation is expected to be less serious and more in line with the original Marvel comic.

The Incredible Hulk begins with Banner on the run, trying to avoid capture long enough to cure the condition that turns him into a misunderstood green menace.

The Impending Oil Crisis

quote I am a little leary of the situation. The truth will come out when, and if the US economy, and the dollar begins to strengthen. If prices remain high, you’ll know someone is lying. Either OPEC doesn’t have the supply they claim they have, or Analysts are incorrect when they say demand has decreased. Personally, I don’t buy the claim that demand has decreased. Population is ever increasing, so, the the demand should always be increasing. quote
