Battlestar GalacticaSCI FI announced at a press event in New York yesterday that they have increased their episode order for the fourth season of Battlestar Galactica.

Instead of the initially commissioned 13 episodes, season four of the Peabody award winning sci-fi drama show will now run for 22 episodes, which will amount to the longest season run for the series so far. Included in those 22 episodes is a special two-hour extended episode that will air during the fourth quarter of this year and bridge the gap between seasons three and four. Production on season four will begin in May, for a planned premiere in early 2008.

Jet LiAccording to The Hollywood Reporter, Chinese actor and martial arts star Jet Li is in talks to play the villainous title character in The Mummy 3, directed by Rob Cohen. Rumours had spread in February that Li and Michelle Yeoh had joined the project.

The site mentions that the script (written by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar) is being kept under wraps, but can reveal that ‘the action is set in China, with Li’s story beginning in ancient times before moving to a post-World War II setting. It is also known that one sequence involves the famous terra-cotta warriors, the collection of 6,000 men and their horses that were originally constructed to protect the tomb of an emperor.’

The Impending Oil Crisis

quote I am a little leary of the situation. The truth will come out when, and if the US economy, and the dollar begins to strengthen. If prices remain high, you’ll know someone is lying. Either OPEC doesn’t have the supply they claim they have, or Analysts are incorrect when they say demand has decreased. Personally, I don’t buy the claim that demand has decreased. Population is ever increasing, so, the the demand should always be increasing. quote
