Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer director Tim Story has updated his blog with confirmation that Galactus will be seen in the upcoming movie:
‘There continues to be much speculation about Galactus. Major speculation. We haven’t finished the design of him/it so be careful about what you read and believe. Trust me…no one knows. One things for sure, you can expect to see him/it. It will be pretty powerful. I’m having a lot of fun with the concept and believe me - MOST will be satisfied.’ The director also mentioned that the film will explore Dr. Doom’s roots and that the villain would be shown in his classic look.

There’s always been plenty of speculation on whether or not the young actors from the Harry Potter films would act our their roles until the end of the series. There was every chance that they’d be replaced by younger actors, since the book characters didn’t age quite as fast as Dan Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson (the films are released every 1.5 years, while the events in the story are always one year apart).
According to DanRadcliffe.co.uk, Radcliffe’s publicist has now confirmed that the actor has been signed up to play Harry Potter in the final two films aswell. Radcliffe will be seen in the already filmed fifth part, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, on July 13 later this year. He will then go on to start filming Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince this September (for a November 21 2008 release) and then reprise his role in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (which has a likely release date of summer 2010).

IGN reports that Star Trek XI might be slightly different than expected.
For quite some time now, it has been assumed that the story will revolve around Kirk and Spock’s training at Starfleet Academy. However, if IGN’s sources prove to be correct, the movie will bypass their adventures as cadets and explore their first mission together.
Apparently the plot will focus more on Kirk and Spock than the other characters, with Dr. McCoy being more of a supporting role. IGN recently reported that Paramount had three actors in mind for the roles of Kirk, Spock and McCoy, respectively: Matt Damon, Adrien Brody and Gary Sinise. Sources also advised IGN that soundstages on the Paramount lot will start being reserved starting in May.

Rob Zombie has published some images from Werewolf Women of the SS on his MySpace site, his faux trailer contribution to the Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodruigez double-header Grindhouse.
Grindhouse consists of two individual films, Planet Terror, directed by Robert Rodriguez, and Deathproof, directed by Quentin Tarantino. Inspired by late 70s and early 80s slasher films, Deathproof is about a serial killer who uses his car to mutilate his victims. Planet Terror is a zombie movie with ‘infected people menacing’ a town. The features are set to be conjoined by grind house style trailers by Eli Roth, Edgar Wright and Rob Zombie. Grindhouse is scheduled for release 6 April 2007.
