Last August, Prison Brake star Dominic Purcell gave a coy interview which led to rumours of him starring in the lead role of Louis Leterrier’s The Incredible Hulk. HisĀ latest film Primeval is out in theaters this week, andĀ Superherohype.com had the chance to speak with the actor.
Asking him if there was any truth to him playing Hulk, Purcell answered: “The whole thing was a rumor. Marvel never approached me. It was just a rumor.” But would he do it if he were approached: “Really, I loved the first ‘Hulk.’ Obviously, if they can come up with that kind of concept, I would have loved to have done it, but they didn’t and again, it was just all rumor.”
