According to Variety, Warner Bros. has hired Hellboy and Pan’s Labyrinth director Guillermo del Toro to write a big screen adaptation of DC Comic’s Deadman together with newcomer Gary Dauberman. There is a possibility that del Toro will also direct the film, he’s producing it together with Angry Films’ Don Murphy and Murphy’s partner Susan Montford.

Deadman is the ghost of a murdered circus acrobat who has the power to possess the living in order to seek out his killer, as well as to help the innocent.

The most revealing look at Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix has gone online at Mugglenet in the form of thirteen preview clips. These were aired over the weekend throughout ABC Family’s showing of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (the first two parts of the Harry Potter series).
