Spiderman 3A couple of short Spiderman 3 clips were aired during the showing of Spiderman 2 on Fox last night, and they are now viewable online combined into one two-and-a-half minute video on Superherohype.com.

The clips feature director Sam Raimi and the main cast sharing their thoughts on the high-profile sequel, aswell as some glimpses behind-the-scenes. But more excitingly, there’s also a bunch of new footage  included straight from the film, showing lots of black suit, Sandman, Harry Osborne going after Spidey, and even some Venom!

The Tin ManSCI FI Channel has greenlighted the six hour miniseries Tin Man written by Steven Long Mitchell and Craig Van Sickle (The Pretender). The series is described as a wild sci-fi reimagining of The Wizard of Oz and is scheduled for a December 2007 release. Casting is currently underway and shooting will commence in January 2007 in Vancouver.

Tin Man is a sometimes psychedelic, often twisted and always bizarre take on The Wizard of Oz. It centers on DG, a young woman plucked from her humdrum life and thrust into The Outer Zone (the O.Z.), a fantastical realm filled with wonder, but oppressed by dark magic. DG discovers her true identity, battles evil winged monkey-bats and attempts to fulfill her destiny. Her perilous journey begins on the fabled Old Road that leads to a wizard known as the Mystic Man. Along the way, she is joined by “Glitch,” an odd man missing half his brain; “Raw,” a quietly powerful wolverine-like creature longing for inner courage; and “Cain,” a heroic former policeman (known in the O.Z. as a “Tin Man”), who is seeking vengeance for his scarred heart. Ultimately, DG’s destiny leads her to a showdown with the wicked sorceress Azkadellia, whose ties to DG are closer than anyone could have imagined.

Nicole KidmanThe upcoming epic of red curtain director Baz Luhrmann (Romeo & Juliet, Moulin Rouge) starring Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman finally has a title, Australia, reports The Age. The title was chosen over “Great Southern Land” and “Faraway Downs”, the name of one of the film’s locations.

The romantic action-adventure, set in northern Australia prior to World War II, centers on an English aristocrat (Kidman) who inherits a ranch the size of Maryland. When English cattle barons plot to take her land, she reluctantly joins forces with a rough-hewn cattle driver (Jackman) to drive 2,000 head of cattle across hundreds of miles of the country’s most unforgiving land, only to still face the bombing of Darwin, Australia, by the Japanese forces that had attacked Pearl Harbor only months earlier.

The Impending Oil Crisis

quote I am a little leary of the situation. The truth will come out when, and if the US economy, and the dollar begins to strengthen. If prices remain high, you’ll know someone is lying. Either OPEC doesn’t have the supply they claim they have, or Analysts are incorrect when they say demand has decreased. Personally, I don’t buy the claim that demand has decreased. Population is ever increasing, so, the the demand should always be increasing. quote
