The next in our line of interviews with the cast and crew of Casino Royale, the new James Bond film which opens in theaters in a week, is with Dame Judi Dench, who’s recognised as one of the greatest actors of her generation. Dame Judi has graced the British stage for five decades and has starred in numerous films, winning an Oscar for her role as Elizabeth I in Shakespeare in Love.
In a glittering career she has been nominated for an Academy Award a further four times (including, most recently, for Mrs Henderson Presents), won five BAFTAs and was created a Dame of the British Empire in 1988. Her first love remains the stage although she has been delighted to venture on to the big screen more and more over recent years. She has incarnated the role of M in the Bond films Goldeneye, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough and Die Another Day. She is also scheduled to reprise her role in the 22nd Bond film currently slated for 2008.

The sequel to Superman Returns, which has been announced to hit theaters in 2009, has a working title. Does this mean we can stop refering to the project as the Superman Returns Sequel, or Superman Returns Returns? Hopefully.
IESB.net, who first broke that news that Bryan Singer had signed on to direct the sequel, reports that the project is being refered to as Superman: The Man of Steel. A representative from Warner has contacted them stating a belief that the title may not be accurate, but the site is standing by their sources on this matter. Of course, Superman: The Man of Steel being a working title does not guarantee that it will end up as the final title.

The much anticipated second trailer for the third outing of the Spider Man trailer has arrived earlier than expected and is currently playing exclusively at the ifilm website. Although some fanboys will be disappointed by the non-appearance of arch-villain Venom, the trailer does offer some great footage of Thomas Haden Church as Sandman, James Franco as the avenging Harry Osborn and Spidey’s new symbiote suit.
