Wes AndersonCult director Wes Anderson (Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums, The Life Aquatic) and Noam Baumbach have adapted the much loved children’s novel Fantastic Mr. Fox by Roald Dahl. 20th Century Fox has picked up the rights for the movie and it is expected to feature stop-motion animation. It tells the story of three farmers - Boggis, Bunce and Bean who try to outfox (if you’ll excuse the pun) the titular character. A release date has not yet been set.

starwarssmall.jpgCompletists will be only too aware that there is a glaring omission from the Star Wars library. With every episode from The Empire Strikes Back onward there has been a sumptuous ‘Making-of’ guide but the accompanying time for the original 1977 movie was started but never completed.

However, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Star Wars, next April 24 Del Rey Books will fill the gap on the collector’s bookshelf by releasing The Making of Star Wars with a wealth of never before seen material. New York Times bestselling author J.W. Rinzler has even recovered lost interviews including transcripts of conversations with George Lucas prior to the movie’s release. Fans can expect to see new photos and documents and never-before-revealed anecdotes and insights from cast and crew.

The Impending Oil Crisis

quote I am a little leary of the situation. The truth will come out when, and if the US economy, and the dollar begins to strengthen. If prices remain high, you’ll know someone is lying. Either OPEC doesn’t have the supply they claim they have, or Analysts are incorrect when they say demand has decreased. Personally, I don’t buy the claim that demand has decreased. Population is ever increasing, so, the the demand should always be increasing. quote
