In another move to further involve the fans in the process of making what is ultimately a geek film, the official Transformers movie website is now promoting it’s “Make Prime Speak” contest, which offers fans a chance to write a line of Optimus Prime’s dialogue for the movie. Fans will submit a line of dialogue via a form on the website. Peter Cullen, who will voice Optimus Prime in the movie, will then record the top ten submissions, to be chosen by the filmmakers. The number one submission will be featured in the finished product, while the recordings based off the nine remaining submissions will be featured on the official website.

Joss Whedon has revealed on his blog, Whedonesque, that recent rumours about a Serenity sequel are sadly not true.
“There’s no sequel, no secret project regarding Serenity or somesuch and I’m not even sure how anyone thought there was talk there.” writes the director, “I’ve seen Nathan and Tim (and Summer and Alan) recently because they’re my friends because I’m so, yeah, awesome. So let’s put that to bed and smother it with a pillow.”
The Buffy, Angel and Firefly writer will instead concentrate on his Wonder Woman movie project, scheduled for release in 2007.

Moviefone have published a new poster for the 2007 Marvel Comics adaptation of Ghost Rider starring Nicolas Cage and Eva Mendes.
Ghost Rider is an adaptation of the popular Marvel comic first published in 1973 that tells the story of a motorcycle stunt rider who surrenders his soul to become a hellblazing vigilante and supernatural anti-hero. The Hollywood Reporter has said that rising Mexican star Gael Garcia Bernal may star opposite Matt Damon in the latest installment of the Jason Bourne franchise. If he chooses to sign on the dotted line, Bernal will join returning stars Joan Allen and Julia Stiles in the third adapatation of the series of novels penned by Robert Ludlum. The Bourne Ultimatum follows the continuing story of David Webb, a.k.a. Jason Bourne, as he works to find his old enemy, Carlos the Jackal, who is trying to kill him.
Gael Garcia Bernal is perhaps most famous for his roles in Y tu mamá también and Diarios de motocicleta (The Motorcyle Diaries).

Beau Garrett has been cast as Frankie Raye in Fantastic Four: Rise of The Silver Surfer says The Hollywood Reporter. Garrett has appeared in the TV shows Entourage and North Shore and has three films in the can pending release: Turistas, Unearthed and Live!. A former Guess model, the young actress hails from Santa Monica. She joins the established cast of Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Chris Evans, Michael Chiklis and Julian McMahon. Garrett will play a scientist and girlfriend of Johnny Storm, aka the Human Torch. In the original Marvel comic, Raye is the daughter of the original Human Torch’s creator and becomes the character Nova.
