Ghost House Pictures have published another behind-the-scenes clip for David Slade’s cinematic adaptation of 30 Days of Night. In the short video Steven Kay explains the process of building Barrow, the location for the story. Although it’s not particularly enlightening, there are links to previous videos from the same page.
Produced by Sam Raimi and Robert Tapert, the project is based on a 2002 graphic novel of the same name created by Steve Niles, Ben Templesmith and Ted Adams. The story is set in Barrow, Alaska, where 30 days of continual winter darkness makes the town the perfect feeding ground for vampires. Josh Hartnett and Melissa George star.
