Access Hollywood recently visited the set of Michael Bay’s Transformers, the live-action adaptation of the 80s cartoon in which alien robots disguise themselves as cars, jets, guns and more, and have produced a segment which can now be viewed online via Michael Bay’s blog. The most interesting bit is the capture of a screen playing an animatic of actor Shia LeBouf (Spike) being attacked by one of the robots, which can be seen transforming from car mode into its humanoid form. A clip of only this animatic is available at Aint-it-cool.com. Transformers is scheduled for release 4 July 2007.
