hp_icon.jpgTwo of America’s top authors have pleaded with Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling not to kill off the young wizard in the final book of the series.

John Irving (The World According to Garp) said ‘my fingers are crossed for Harry’ at a joint news conference before a charity reading by the three writers in New York. Horror maestro Stephen King also begged the British author to spare the bespectacled wand wielder. The two writers join legions of fans who are petitioning Rowling not to kill off their hero in the seventh book of the series.

evagreen.jpgEva Green who appears as Vesper Lynd in Casino Royale has been cast as Serafina Pekkala, the Queen of Witches in His Dark Materials: The Golden Compass, the first film in a planned trilogy.

The Impending Oil Crisis

quote I am a little leary of the situation. The truth will come out when, and if the US economy, and the dollar begins to strengthen. If prices remain high, you’ll know someone is lying. Either OPEC doesn’t have the supply they claim they have, or Analysts are incorrect when they say demand has decreased. Personally, I don’t buy the claim that demand has decreased. Population is ever increasing, so, the the demand should always be increasing. quote
